Default We got our 2619! Radio question....

After numerous delays we finally picked up our new 2007 2619 on Wednesday! We took it on a maiden voyage to Lancaster, PA and we are very happy with it. I do have one question that may sound silly, but for those of you who have the factory installed radio, how do you turn it off? When I hit the power button it does not turn off - it just says "ADJUST" on the screen. The dealer that we bought it from says that the unit in his showroom doesn't shut off either .

I don't have a factory installed unit. I can turn my Kennwood off by holding the power switch in for several seconds.

Hi,
We just had our first outing last weekend in our new 2720. I had the same exact problem with our radio. It wouldn't turn off by pressing and holding the SOUCRE/POWER button as the instructions indicate. I was determined to figure this out, and while mine was displaying "ADJUST" I pressed the Display button, and "magically" it shut off. After that, pressing the source/power button worked to turn it off and on. Good luck!

When you hit the power button, the "Adjust" is telling you to adjust your clock. Read the owners manual and adjust for the correct time setting. If you dont want to display the clock or that annoying "Adjust" screen, just hit the display button like steve said and it will blank the screen.
