Default Taking TM in for factory tuneup & lift kit.

Hi, all.

Tomorrow, taking our NTU 2001 2720 to the factory for a tune-up and lift kit install.

Since we just bought it and it is 14 yrs old, I figured it 'couldn't hurt'(Mel Brooks accent).

Hartington is only 3 hours south of me, so I'll advise what I learn.

Maybe even try to get some factory floor pics, if allowed.

*****UPDATE*****

Getting my TM 2720 back from factory on Monday (8/24).

Three torsion bars were damaged by previous owners, so they were replaced, lift kit had to be fabricated, due to age of the unit (2001).
Replaced stove/oven combo with range top and converted oven area to a cabinet.

4 new 15" tire/rim combos, now that I have the lift in. (2 spares for comfort factor)

Ended up being a bit pricey, all told, but at least I now know the lift system, water, LP, etc are all up to snuff.

Next project will be replacing the recirc toilet with a sealand 711 toilet.

Just glad Hartington is only about 3 hours from Chamberlain, SD.

All for now.

Dave & Rose,

Please post a full report when you get back! It would be nice to hear from the folks there.

Happy viewing.
Attended the Warren and Charlie-Berkshire show in Omaha for the first time this past spring....was encouraged by the owners (via e-mail correspondence) to tour the new NE facility when I inquired ahead of time (ended up not having enough time the friday before the meeting).
