Maybe 70-75% of whatever you get without it ---- depending on how hard you pull it. There is a gas mileage thread you'll find with a search.

I pull my 2005 3124KS with a 2004 F-150 5.4 V-8. My fuel economy only drops 2-3 mpg while towing. Every once in awhile I'll get caught up in the flow of traffic, look down at the speedometer and be going 80mph. It really tows easily.

I'll echo 2blueranger. We tow a 3124KB with a 2003 F-150 Supercrew 5.4 V-8. Pulling the TM costs somewhere between 2 and 3 mpg.

Default Another echo

I actually pull my 3124KS with a Land Cruiser, but again it only costs me 1.5 to 2.5 mpg. I found that by slowing down from 70 to 65 gains me almost 1mpg. Amazed even me! I use OD and cruise control where I can, (i.e. flat and open). I kick out of cruise control on hills, and even going on overpasses most of the time, saves "searching" and excess trannie heating. So far OD hasn't been a factor except in Tennessee when I took the scenic routes through the mountains. With all the ups and downs it was easier to just leave OD turned off.

Those are great numbers folks and I'm envious. 14.4 is the best I've ever done towing with the Tundra and that's only 70% of what I can get at the same speed solo. Your numbers are why Trailmanor advertises you only burn one gallon more per 100mi towing a TM compared to running solo. We burn closer to two gallons more.

Default Still beats

Even 70% is a great figure. My son who owns a 24' TT chops his mileage to about 45% of what he gets otherwise. I'm convinced that whatever I paid extra for the TM I'll recoup in fuel costs over the years. Just the few trips I've taken so far have affirmed my convictions.

I installed a "Gear Vendors" overdrive system (not cheap at $2.400 plus installation) on my 2001 Ford F-150 Lightning and find I can get 14 MPG towing my TM2720SL.
