Default Loose Wire Bundle on Lift Arm

I seem to have lost the zip ties that held the cable bundle to the front shell lift arm on the street side. The cables are now hanging loose as in the attached photo.

When we put the camper up and down on our trip last week, the cable slack slid through the PVC pipe attached to the lift arm. Each time I had to pull it back out.

Can someone please tell me where the wire bundle is supposed to be secured by a zip tie? I don't want to guess wrong and pull something out.

Thanks!

Thanks very much. It looks like your setup is a bit different than mine, but it shows me where the loop of slack should go.

Good to know the photos helped somewhat. I did notice your configuration was different. Perhaps someone with a model year similar to yours will post a few thumbnails of their setup.

We don't have the pvc on ours, the cables are just ty-raped to the arm with a loop to allow for raising/lowering without pulling.

The white nylon zip ties are subject to UV damage. They should be replaced every 2 - 3 years if the TM is stored outside and uncovered. I keep a package of zip ties in my TM tool box. You can find black UV resistant zip ties if you don't mind the look.

I have been using the metal tie wraps from Harbor Freight. Seem to work pretty well. I use tin snips to cut them. John

I would rather not use them. As the wires flex over time, the metal can cut into the wire sheath and a short might occur.
