I thank Wavery for sharing his experience with the Honda Ridgeline.

Does anyone have any experience with the Nissan 2021 Nissan NV3500 SV Passenger?

It has a payload of 2,730 pounds and a 8,700 pound towing capacity. The main reason I'm considering it is because it seats 12 and I need something that can seat at least 10.

Good to here that Ridgeline works on the passes. My wife and I are looking at a new 2720QS this Friday. Any additional info on Ridgeline coupled to TM would be appreciated

Also new to forum. Nice provision txs to all. Looking at a 2619 for the two of us. Was considering a newer Honda Ridgeline rated for 5000 thinking now that might be a little marginal. Any vehicle recommendation looked 2020 explorer 5600 grand cherokee 7200 any input txs

Many of our members have 5000-pound-rated tow vehicles and are happy with them. General consensus several years ago was that anything smaller than 5000 can be considered marginal, but 5000 is considered adequate in many cases. When deciding, you need to consider the following:

My favorite question? Where do you plan to tow? Obviously if you plan to venture up into the high altitude and steep grades of the Rockies or Sierras, you need more tow vehicle than if you plan to stay in the midwest, deep south, or most of the northeast, where altitude is low and terrain is more or less flat.

Next: How much will your rig REALLY weigh, both trailer and tow vehicle, when you have packed and outfitted them with everything that you will take camping, including food, water, propane, dishes, tools, etc? Remember, in this context, the dry weight of the TM, which is what you will find on the specs page of the brochure, is meaningless.
