This storm is not that bad, it was the 9 degrees and snow in Arizona that got me!

I see from the Harvest Host site that you must provide your own electricity and water? So, you carry a generator and potable water?

Rv - yes, your RV must be completely self contained to stay at the Harvest Hosts sites. We have dual batteries on board and carry enough water for the stay.

Most give you a really nice place to park and setup. I have to ask - a free place to stay for the night, nice people and wine to drink - what more can you ask for . . . we like it so far!

Thanks Joe. At present, I don't use my on board battery. Climate here suggests running the AC... and I don't want carry a gen. Got enough stuff that I can't live without as it is. Beautiful country out that way. We vacationed on the CA coast 2 winters ago. Toured PCH on motorcycle for 9 days.

I plan to try the Harvest Host network this coming summer. I will only drink the wine because I don't have any good place to store it...
