Default Make the rear hold door flush.

It would be nice if the floor of of the rear hold were flush with the bottom lip of the door. That would allow you to more easily slide heavy items over the lip without damaging it.

I suspect what goes in easy would come out easy too. I don't think just the door would hold back a 70lb genset.

Default Make a patform

If you can stand to lose some height, why not build a platform inside to raise the floor. A couple of 2x4's and 2 pieces of plywood should do it!

I don't carry anything in the compartment that is heavy except the battery. When I take the battery out for winter storage or changing I found that if you opened the shell and did not pull out the bed you could get more leverage. I also added a shelf so I would not have to sort through so much stuff. Very easy to make. I put a photo in tips and tricks.
