Default Tire and Wheel Covers

Does anyone use wheel covers when storing their TM, or is buying them a waste of money?

I bought a set of Adco (I think) at Camping World, and I do use them.  I like to keep the sun off the tires as much as I can, I find that sun (UV) is the biggest enemy to the rubber.  I figure it's cheap insurance.

I went to the lumber yard bought a sheet of that foil sided solid foam cut it to fit, taped the cut parts and painted it white to match the trailor and stick them up into the wheelweld while leaving the bottom on the drive. Cost about $3 and 15 min.
