Where does this table piece go??
My model has the two flip out tables w/folding legs w/finished edges and this doesn't have any way to attach to them.

One of the tables pulls outward and that’s a leaf to make the table longer.

Pulls out...from where? Both tables are hinged against the wall. What am I not seeing?

Hope this helps
If you look at this photo. I believe the street side table pulls out and the leaf fits into that one. They don't attach to each other, but meets each other for a longer table.

Yes, that's my setup, but I don't understand how it "pulls out"? It's attached to the wall and can't pull out.
Do the silver pieces underneath do something?
I'm old and have bad eyes -- and both extendable legs don't work properly any more -- so I haven't messed with them. lol

Kathy -
Think of inserting a leaf into a dining-room table.
In the TM, neither table pulls away from the wall - you are right, they are firmly attached to the wall. Instead, if you look at the street-side table top, you will see that it is made up of two pieces. The piece closest to the aisle can be pulled toward the aisle, and the leaf (that's what is in your picture) dropped into the gap. You may have to release the moving section by pushing/pulling/pressing one of the little silver pieces you describe. We never extend ours, so I've forgotten.
As for the extending legs, you are probably finding that they jam in the up position. And once jammed, they are a pain to get out. This is a common occurrence that is easily dealt with. When you put the table away, I bet you push the lower half of the leg all the way up into the upper half. DON'T DO THAT! Instead, depress the little silver button and slide the lower leg just an inch or two into the upper section.

Oh....never had a table w/leaves. Yes, that worked like magic!

Didn't see the silver slides as slides. Need stronger glasses and better lighting!
Also, YES to accidentally jamming the lower leg into the top. Ugh. Dumb design. Needed a pair of vice grips to pull them out. Been trying to come up with a hack for that and will share when I find one.

Kathy -
A hack for what? Pulling the leg down once it is jammed? The only hack needed is DON'T JAM IT! When you slide the lower leg up into the upper leg, don't slide it up any more than an inch or two. Or am I misunderstanding?
