Power converter question -

Is power converter AC power consumption proportional to power drawn?

I am curious about how much shore power my converter is actually using.
I cannot find any spec about the wattage on my 2012 model.

New power converters do have specs for an input of 110v and 940 watts.
Does that mean that the converter is using 940 watts all the time,
or does that wattage fluctuate with whatever the dc demand is on the converter?
Does the AC usage interact?

I stumbled upon the answers to my converter questions in an already written
explanation posted online. Since most folks are not interested, I will not post
the article, but it can be easily found by google searching on
"RV Converters and Amp Draw". It is a good and informative article.

My main question was about whether or not the converter amp draw varied
with the DC power used, and it does, as the article states:

The bottom line is the converter amperage draw will fluctuate depending on the 12 volt demand placed on it.
