Exterior shower too short
Hello,
The exterior shower hose in my 2020 trailmanor only pulls out about 12-16 inches-seriously? Or, is it stuck inside somehow and not deploying properly?
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Dennis

It does sound like it's caught on something behind the panel. I'd pull it out to see how it's wrapped up behind the panel.

It is kinked behind the box, or possibly snagged on the pipes. You can try twisting it a few times to see if you can unravel the kink. If this doesn't work, I'm not sure there is a solution other than removing the box from the wall. You will need to recaulk when you put it back.

And if it is indeed kinked up inside, you will not regret replacing the stiff factory hose with one of the flexible "slinky" type hoses of the proper length.

Exterior shower too short
Thanks, you guys were right-the hose had been pushed up and behind some hardware. Once I had the door apparatus off, I could untangle the hose and extend it out. It seems like a 90 degree fitting where the hose attaches to the faucet would help to reduce this tendency.
So, I untangled it and now it works ok. I have recaulked and it should work ok now, but I would like to change the hose_what kind do you recommend?
Also, I am considering widening the hole that The hose comes thru-Could that cause any problems?
Thanks for all your help

Ironically, they used to have a 90° fitting there. Somewhere along the line Fontana quit putting them on.
Personally I wish they would use one of the outdoor showers where the hose just wrapped up in side the box, or better yet one with the quick disconnect hose that can then be stored in the bumper.

Use one of the hoses with the flexible "slinky" type of metal outer shell. They are almost as flexible as a piece of rope. Get it routed to the connection so that you can drop it in an out of the hole easily. Widen the hole if needed, but you probably won't have to, if you get it routed clear of the obstructions.
