Default New Tires!

Just replaced my 2008 trailer tires with a fresh set of Goodyear Endurance ST 225/75/R15 Load Range Es. Pulled the tires off while the trailer was still down, had the new tires mounted on the wheels and put them back on. Thought you might enjoy a picture of the hover conversion I did on the camper too!

Wow. I struggled changing the tires with the trailer folded. I finally decided it was worth the trouble to pop it up.

Please let us know if you like the tires. I think those same tires are in my future.

I did the hover conversion just a week and a half ago when I wanted to remove both wheels to get new Marathons. I tried to "de-wheel" with the shells down and nope, couldn't do it. Granted, the unit was on rear jack stands that when I used the front jacks plus the elevation jack for "liftoff" I was only able to get the wheels about 1" off the ground.

I ended up opening the unit up (very carefully) to make sure the trailer did not move, risking coming off the rear jack stands.

Cool Hover conversion

If you equipped your TM with hover gear why do you need tires? Should pull really easy!
