Default Towing Trailmanor to dumpsite

A newbie question........must you breakdown your trailmanor when going to the dumpsite when the toilet is full or can you tow it upright in the campground?

Always close it up when moving it. You could damage it if you move it when open. I close mine up before I raise my corner levelers.

Thanks for all the replies and info.......we are on day 3 of our first ever camping trip on our trailmanor and despite the heat humidity rain potential of a brush by a hurricane and the invasion of those pesky sugar ants are having a relaxing time. We have yet to meet blue boy but definitely will meet and greet somewhere down the line.

I had a hybrid, a little easier take down, but if I had to go to the dump station, I would have to fold up the ends and hitch up, that was when I bought my tote, has a hook up for the hitch ball, just drive the tote super slow after emptying into the tote (or do what I did and just pull it by hand to the dump station great for leg muscles as well as the bi ceps and triceps ...it is supposed to be a gray water tote, but since loosing my blackwater tank on my Cabin A, it is an all purpose tote tank.

last camp out the dump station was 3 miles away, so I used a large tote and lined it with TWO leaf and lawn bags and dumped into that, Tied off the bags, put the tote in the back of the pickem up, and took it to the dump station...plastic gloves are a necessity as I had to bring the bags back to the campground's dumpster.

Stay safe my friend, they have no idea where that monster is going, it may come up here and see up or it may make a bee line to you all.

+1 on RedTail Cruser's answer. Do not tow the TM anywhere while it is set up! The major damage that you risk (think about bending one of the lift bars) far outweights whatever convenience you are seeking.

Yes. Meet the Blue Boy.

The previous owner told me I could carefully move the TM, set up. I cringed at the thought. Would never have thought of moving the Bantam more than a couple INCHES. Same goes for the TM.

We tried moved ours from one campsite to one right next to it at Seacliff State Beach once without folding down (about 8 feet away), but what with the pickup bed and the tight turns we had to make into the campsite, ended up putting the shells down (but didn't have to clamp anything down). The front shell got in the way of making the turns.

A long, long time ago I saw an ad on Craigslist that advertised a TM that was permanently fixed open. They said that they towed it everywhere like that.

I've seen a lot of weird TM's online.

Anyone remember the Superhero TM? I still have pictures of it.
