Default Tire manuf date

I'm trying to find the date code for the tires on the 2008 2720SL I just bought. Can someone tell me where to look on the tire to find a manuf. date. I know I saw it somewhere on the forum but can't find the post now.

Also, will you please tell me how to tag someone's post so I will have it for future reference.

Thanks for your help

Thanks for the link.
I've checked both inside and outside walls for numbers and can't find anything for manuf date. We're going to be on the safe side and replace them before our next camping trip.

In the US, by law, the date must be on the tire.
See here.. It may be only on one side but will follow the letters DOT and be at the end of the string.

What kind of tires are they ?

I was so busy slapping mosquitoes off me that I couldn't concentrate on the tires. So I quick snapped some pictures and see that they were manuf in 10-07 so they will definitely be replaced immediately.

Thanks everyone

ng

I did same , was not sure how the tires on mine had been cared for when we got ours, peace of mind is a small price when on the road.
also a fyi, remember metal valve stems and have them balanced , some tire stores do not think trailer tires need it, but they do.
I also had them mount them with date code on the outside. hope this helps

Thanks for the help and I'm copying and pasting so I'll remember what I need to do. This TM is a learning curve but loving it.

+ 1 on the above, I was confused at first, but discovered the full DOT date code was mounted on the outside of one tire, but the inside wall of the other one.

Underneath "post reply" there is a blue bar below that says "Tags". On the right side it says "Edit Tags". That's where you can put in your tags.
