Mister P,

We've been using the aforementioned shower mod since 2005 with no mold or mildew issues . . .

Mine is a clear shower curtain, and I haven't noticed any condensation. If it were a problem though, it is velcroed on, and could be removed to dry anything.

John,
Thanks for the great thread. We did ours today and worked like a charm. Installed the oxygenic head too, but did not need the holder as our model has one. Can't wait to try it out in two weeks.

Default Complete Shower Mod

Loved your shower mods Sir Drake. Thank you for the detailed instructions. I just finished ours and have ordered an extra wide shower curtain liner from Home Depot. The regular size just didn't seem to cover quite enough. I used an over the door plastic hook to hang a shower caddy for shampoo etc. What a wealth of information on this forum!

This is wonderful! I'm definitely doing this one. The standard configuration is a wee bit claustrophobia-inducing and I'm a petite gal. We've only been out one night in our new TM and I was the only one who tried out the shower. My 6' hubby and the kids were very dubious of the size of the stall, curtain arrangement and lack of upper shower mount. This will open up the shower space amazingly and make it inviting for all of us. Thanks so much for sharing!

I too have done this shower mod and it really made a huge difference, opened it up quite a bit! I used clear vinyl for the folding wall and an opaque one for the door side. I then use a shower rack to hold the shower supplies. Tried it out on our trip to the Davis Mtns and it worked great. Thank you for the detailed instructions and the great pictures Sir drake!!

I am definetly doing this mod. Just waiting for some decent weather and I can see how it will open up the shower a lot. The first post here did a fantastic job of detailing the process. I found a shower "hook" at KMart that will work perfect for over the wall.

Thanks, SirDrake
