Which Kumho did you get? 195 or 205 or? I'd prefer to try the 205 but I hear it's effectively an 80 aspect and taller than the original 215s?

I just put a set of 14" kumho 205's on my TM last week with plenty of room to spare. I too can not go to 15's due to only having less than an inch to spare when the TM is opened in my pole building. I do like being able to have it opened inside to load or unload especially if it is raining and also having the ability to work on the unit throughout the year.

Quote from Tire Rack Sales Rep: The 205R14 is 1/2" narrower and only 1/4" taller compared with the 215/75R15 you are currently using, I think they will fit just fine.

Wanted to add that my new tires were made (DOT code) mid 2011 newest I could get. These are a load range D tire. Adrian from Tire Rack also stated that a tire stored correctly has a shelf life of 4 to 5 years so I feel comfortable with my purchase being I plan on changing them out about every 3 years. Also, shipping was extremely fast. I ordered on a Monday evening and the tires were on my door step by Wednesday.

picked up 3 Durun STC1, ST 225 75R15 E. The only thing available in Socorro, NM. These are 2840 # at 80 psi. So far haven't found any inflation tables.

My luck ran out on the Marathons after 221 weeks since they were made. Two years of sitting somewhere before we got the TM didn't help I'm sure. Peeled the tread right off the curb side tire between Magdalena and Socorro.
I checked the tires and wheels at Walley world in Socorro and everything was great after a 60 plus mile run from Valley of the Fires CG. Got within 5 miles of Magdalena and got my first experience changing a tire on the TM with no shoulder on the road. Got away with mostly scuff marks on the TM

The new tires were made 0812 so maybe I'll get more then a year and half from them.

I received my 15" Maxxis from the company a few weeks back, the date codes are 1310, but I figure they will be fine, even though I had hoped for something a little newer. I haven't had them mounted yet, but I will do that before the trip to Niagara Falls. I will keep them pressured at 65 pounds and will have my TST 507RV keeping an eye on them.

YES!! You ABSOLUTELY DO NOT want to have the TM riding on tires inflated to 80 psi cold. Your toilet hinges will break (just try to find replacements...), every appliance will start falling out after 100 miles, and stuff in your cabinets will probably bust out and get all over the place. Been there, done that.

I also have E-load tires with an 80 psi max rating, and I will not ride with more than 70 psi cold, and usually keep them at 65 psi.

I started out @ 65 PSI in the Maxxis 225/75R15 LR D! After a 300 mile drive @ no more than 65 MPH on main highways, I had to pick things up that had never fallen before! I dropped the tires to 60 PSI and all was back to normal! I considered 55 PSI but the happy medium is 60 for my 2619.
