Bob, the reverse WDH is a great idea! I wish i'd had one for my first truck, a 1964 F-100 with big tires and no power steering. The only way i could steer around a corner with one hand was with a heavy trailer hitch attached, or a big load in the back of the bed!

I'm not sure I see the connection between use of a WDH and the need to grease the hitch ball. ???

the wdh loads a lot of weight at the hitch head between the coupler and the ball as it transfers the load. lots of folks like to grease the hitch ball, and the additional pressure probably warrants it.
