I pull a 98 3326 with a Dodge Dakota and it pulls very well. I do have a WDH and usually travel with empty tanks. I've pull it across the country and back without any problems I try to keep my speed below 65 but as been mentioned before I sometimes forget it's there and my speed creeps up a little.

Typically sway is caused by improper setup for tongue weight. (not enough tongue weight) Drop your hitch a little bit, or put more weight in the front of the TM when towing, and see if that helps. And I agree with Wayne, a WDH is in order.
