I don't but I can take some. Give me a day or two and I'll post a couple.

BTW, my wife used Roman Shades for the front and back windows and the only valence we left up was the one over the couch. I think the 2720 SL is laid out sort of the same way ours is.

I'm not happy with the "room darkening" of the stock shades, and have been contemplating a variety of measures to help, one of which was removing the existing as you have. I'll be very, very interested in seeing what you've done!

Default Curtain Replacement with Shades

Hopefully these pictures will upload OK. Here's the end result of the shade project.

As I mentioned, I used Keyhole hangers on the walls. Tried to use and/or cover up holes from the curtain removal. If you look closely at the picture of the keyhole pic, you'll see where we filled in the holes. The metal plate on the wall is not part of the project- it's the TV hanger.

Anyway, project is pretty self explanatory. The hard parts were cutting the shades (I ended up using a hacksaw) and filling the holes so it didn't look like a machine gun went off inside.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Phil

I was going to use your idea for the TV, when I stumbled onto something else entirely: folding shelves that are "over-the-door". They fit perfectly on the bathroom wall, and with two shelf heights I plan to watch TV with the set on the lower shelf (upper shelf folded) and then either move it to the upper or put it away when going to sleep, and leaving the upper shelf available for a clock or whatever else.
I like this shelf...please tell where you bought it.

Meijer Online (meijer.com). Search for "neu home over-the-door" and you'll see there's a 1-shelf and a 2-shelf model (as well as some other things you might like!)

I chose the 2 shelves for flexibility, I figure I can always fold an unused shelf against the wall, but having a choice for height made sense. Very light weight, but feels well made and sturdy (aluminum).

Meijer happened to have the best price at the time, and there was a coupon for free shipping

P and B, like your idea... but already did the same a couple months ago prior to reading your post today (9/30/10). I liked the fact that the Matchstick blinds (matchstickblinds.com) were cheap and easy to resize to meet your needs. I did the extra bit by making liners out of thick/dark material and adding velcro to the blinds and liners for removal purposes.. also 'hemmed' in ties on the liners so they could be rolled up on the blinds rather than removing. The matchstick blinds (mine are made of reeds, lower cost) add a nicer touch to the interior decor. I also replaced all the corner ceiling trim with real wood stained to match the cabinetry.

Bob

Have attempted to upload pics several times, but to no avail.
