Air Pressure for Tires in Sand

Does anyone have recommendations or can point me to guidelines on what pressure to run in tires on sand. On off-roading sites, I see a wide range from 10-25lbs. I never had to lower the pressure on my P-rated truck tires lower than 20lbs but the LTs I have now are significantly stiffer.

(1) TV tires - Michelin AT2- LTs load range E
(2) TM tires - load E Maxxis (15in.)

Is the dealer any help on suggesting a minimum? Sorry I don't know. Good Luck?

Believe it or not, the dealer (for my truck tires) provided incorrect info. on what to use even on the street. I had to beg the manufacturer (Michelin) for the load versus pressure tables that the dealer did not have. They finally relented and sent it to me.

I'm going to try to call the manufacturer tomorrow but have no confidence that I will get to someone that has any knowledge on the subject.

I can probably get decent info, from the manufacturer for the trailer tires. (Maxxi)

Start at 20psi and see if you have traction. You can go as low as 10 psi. I have not had to go below 12 psi. Make sure you air up on pavement or you will damage the tire in no time. If you have a center locking diff, make sure it is locked and disable stability control. I found that disabling all nannies will help.
