I doubt this is a newsflash to the forum, but I noticed that I did say in an earlier post that I would advise if the 2002 models have rounded wheel wells (and they do).

I was under the impression that "trailer" tires were intended for just that purpose, running on something that does a lot of sitting, therefore, they're made of a different compound that resists the effects of sitting in one place for too long....I'm by no means an expert on this subject, just what I've read in the past on this board and told my my local RV shops.........

RE: Truck vs. trailer tires.  As was stated before, trailer tires are compounded differently because they sit a lot and stay on trailers for quite a few years.  Truck tires have a much shorter aging life than do trailer tires which also have stiffer side walls. Might void a warranty and/or insurance claim if it was discovered that somebody was running on truck tires.  It's cheap  insurance to find and buy a high quality trailer tire IMHO.
The question remains though, who makes high quality trailer tires?

I put my money on Goodyear Marathons.  I believe the factory learned a lesson and so did I.

The goodyear advice about overinflating during loaded storage is interesting.
