Question Trailer Coupler (Hitch) Height

OK Guys I need some Help we are getting ready for our first trip this year. I meant to take the TM out to level ground to check the Trailer Hitch Height so I could order the proper WDH Drop Shank but I wasn't able to so I thought I would ask y'all.

I have a 2008 3023 with 15" Tires of course & need to know if anyone knows the level height for Ground to the bottom of the coupler or could check theirs it would be greatly appreciated?

Thanks

Not sure this is any help Billy, but I just went thru the same thing this weekend with my 2619 (w/15" tires). It ended up right at 19 inches from the bottom of the ball to the ground.

Mcgyver210,

My TM is currently @ the storage yard,so I can't tell you what the exact measurements are that you are asking for but I can tell you this. When my TM is loaded and hooked up to my truck and my truck is full of camping gear prior to departing for a trip, the TM and the truck sit "FORE AFT LEVEL" which is the "MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT OF TOWING WITH A WDH" or any setup for that matter.

It took a little bit of playing around with my drop hitch, ball angle and the number of free links on the bars to get it right. All of these adjustments are "CRUCIAL" for proper handling of the tow vehicle and trailer. These adjustments will vary from one tow vehicle to another since each has a different suspension and ride height.

Hopefully someone else has there TM at home and can easily take this measurement for you.Good Luck!
