Default TM 2417 and Nissan Frontier

I picked up the new to me 2417 yesterday. The dealer I purchased from (Not a TM dealer) did not want to install a WDH with the swing tongue. Probably for the best because I like the lighter weight of the Anderson hitch anyway.

The truck is rated for up to 500 lbs tongue weight without a WDH so it *can* handle without, seemed ok on the short ride home. But with nearly a lifetime accumulating camping stuff, we tend to travel *fully* loaded.

They seem to fit ok with a few link extensions to clear the swing hardware, correct?

Can't praise the Andersen No Sway hitch enough. However, my rig is not the swing tongue. Folks at Andersen would be a good resource, but I bet it will work.

You should not need to modify the WDH to clear anything. I had one spring bar that needed to be extended but that was due the swing tongue not being installed right. Once I got rid of the swing hitch everything was then normal with the old Reese WDH I have. Nobody else to my knowledge has had to change stuff on the WDH to clear stuff on swing tongue.
