Well, of coarse, we ALL know what the transonic flow issues are, in hypergolic fueled motor... Duh! C'mon Padgett, who do you think you're talkin to?

Default Tow vehicle compatibility

Hey guys
Just wanted to say thanks for all the valuable information, its greatly appreciated.

I don't plan on over packing. The class A taught me that one, also I only plan on carrying half a tank of water, since I plan on always having hook-ups. We always use bottle water for drinking and cooking.

Also I'll only be using a cassette toilet, so I won't have the Black Water tank weight,

As Bill mentioned I live in the Valley of the Sun, and the only mountain driving I will be doing is when I go east, and besides I can take the southern route out of the state.

Finally, if I'm restricted to only 50 to 55 mph in the mountains so be it. At my age I'm not in a hurry to get anywhere. Lol

My experience way out west in a VW Westphalia with a single carb 1600 was that slow upgrades were not that common and usually had a slow traffic lane. Just had to endure a few miles Longest grade I remember was headed east out of Needles. I understand even so it is a whole lot better to take I-40 from Needles to Kingman rather than Old 66.
