Thanks, they look perfect.
I'll avoid Flex-seal and do VHB on perimeter.

Default In using VHB tape ... leave intentional gaps.

Cut into strips about 5 inches long, using 3 strips on the first of two "short" sides with gaps of about 2" between strips. (One in the middle, one going all the way into each corner.) Don't stick it down until you have added at least a couple of long-side strips as well. You can use small pieces of 2x4 or 2x2 to hold the panel off of the roof while adding tape.

Using more 5" strips, work your way along the panel lengthwise. At the corner, but the first piece right against the short-side piece. Then larger gaps, 3-4", between strips. When you're about halfway done, go ahead and move your 2x4 well away from the starting "short" edge", allowing you to stick it down (But don't bend the panel by more than about 10 degrees - leave it with a bunch of "free air" between the stuck down portion and the part where you're still adding tape.)

They allow 30-degree bends, don't believe that.

When you reach the opposing short side, do it roughly the same as the first: tape-to-tape in the corners, 2 small gaps and one piece in the middle. When everything is down, you should press in those edges gently (using an edge roller, or the back of a kitchen spoon).

The intentional gaps allow some water in, but more important - they also let water and water vapor out, when the panels get warm under sun.
