We were boondocking a few weeks ago up near Lone Pine, CA, where, according to the rangers, wind gusts reached upwards of 70 MPH (a category 1 hurricane is 75 MPH). We don't know exactly what the sustained winds were, but they were certainly plenty constant. We rocked and rolled a bit, and it pretty much sounded like we were
riding in the trailer down the road....we got little sleep, and I don't think the dog got any.
But nothing came undone, apart, or moved, which was a pleasant surprise.
