Default Propane connection TM option

I did get the propane option that gives me the ability to hook up a grill to the propane. Does anyone know if that is a high pressure connection so that I would need this type of accessory?

Mine is a quick connect and low pressure. Not sure what the new shiny ones have!! Usually low pressure is quick connect and threaded is high pressure I think. Someone will be along to confirm or dispute !!!!

I believe they are Low Pressure. But make sure by following back the copper tubing. If it is on the copper tubing after the regulator that supplies propane to the Furnace, water heater or stove/fridge? It's low pressure.

Thanks, I confirmed it is low connect. Other than doing a mod, is there a low pressure grill that you all can recommend?

Not that I could recommend. But they are out there. For a past camper we made the mod to a Coleman stove. Very simple to remove the stove regulator and add a pipe fitting and quick disconnect to the stove.

Current TM, I have not added the Low pressure fitting. The mod is on my wish list. I did add a Camco 59133 "Y" connector to the propane tank fitting and use a 12 or maybe 15 foot hose and a high pressure grill and stove with 1 lb tank fittings.

I got the low pressure connect on my TM as well, never used it. Mainly because I have a propane grill and a propane firepit, and for the length of tubing (12' x 2, as well as ~10') it was felt that the higher pressure propane would have an easier time getting to the end of that run than the low pressure.

I, too, use a "Y" adapter off the high-pressure side of the propane tanks, and that has proven to work well. I have honestly never plugged anything into the low pressure tap.

I think the only time I would use it, ever, would be with a catalytic type heater, and run the hose through the lower flap of the door inside. This would save me from needing another tap into the gas line. However, we never boondock, and my wife doesn't want to do cold-weather camping, so it's unlikely in the foreseeable future that we'll be in that circumstance.

Baby Weber, love it.
Better than most of the "big" grills I ever had.
Highly recommend it.
