So we're the lucky ones. I'm telling ya it works. The hose is long, in the kitchen, and gets in the way when putting up the cabinet. Once the cabinet is up you only see the bottom of the hose.

That's good to know. The picture I saw did not have the cabinet mounted, and the hose just kind of meandered around above the sink. Not especially attractive. Your way sounds better.

It is the new TM Sport model that advertises the Laveo toilet. Do the other models have the M-28?

Default M-28 on my 2022 2720QB

My first attempt at attachments. Here are images of the hose in the kitchen and bath

That hose is the toilet vent tube. I thought we were talking about a bathroom vent fan to exchange the air due to shower humidity or smelly bathroom activity.

Bill- I think they might be switching to the Laveo dry flush toilet across the board.

Shane, you may be right. In post #16 above, I read
Quote:
The 12 volt fan is located between the tub and the toilet and a vent tube runs behind the toilet through the sink cabinet through the folding kitchen side wall to a vent in the roof.
The 12 volt fan is the bathroom vent fan, which pulls air out of the entire bathroom. The vent tube behind the toilet is supposed to vent only the M-28 black tank, nothing else. Not same.

Suddenly I'm not sure where we are. "Something" is reported to work well, but I'm not sure what. Scedergren, can you straighten me out?

I can tell you my wife would absolutely NOT let me run a toilet vent hose beside the kitchen sink!

Now, Flyboy vented his recirculating toilet by connecting it to the drain vent piping underneath the trailer. He did add a fan to the venting because of the nature of the recirculating toilet.

Larry- Wife doesn’t need to know what that tube does! But I agree it’s not ideal.

Bill- I was hoping you knew what we were talking about because I’m totally lost now. We went from ripping out the tub to wet baths to toilet vents with fans to sky lights and back again.

Scedergren- I posted this on the TMF Facebook group. I don’t know how TM would make this work with the folding roof but it would be awesome if they could!

Yeah, we kind of spider webbed this thread. "works well" means eliminates bathroom smell. It clears fast.

What is it that is "working well" to eliminate the smell? Is it the 12 volt fan? Or is it the vent tube? The phrase "clears fast" implies that the clearing is fan-forced, and not just a lazy drift of air up 12 feet of hose. So it sounds like the 12 volt fan is what is doing the work?

The Ekko bath would be great but I don't think it would work on the TM. The more I try to improve this trailer the more I realize the TM engineers really did and do a great job. Like the shower, the more I think about it the less I'm inclined to change it.
