Default Fresh water tank size

Have a new 2014 2720 Silver Trail QS. The fresh water tank is under the sink. Does anyone know the gallon capacity size of this tank? TM Specs say 40 gal but no way under the sink!

Don't rely on this, 'cause I'm not totally certain. However, my 2013 2720SD w/standard freshwater tank under the sink holds just 20 gal., & our grey water tank holds 30 gal. But, I understand an optional 40 gal. F/W tank is available, at least on some TM's. Just where that could reside on the 2720s, I really don't know. Someone more knowledgeable here on the Forum should be able to tell us(?).

So 140 lbs when full nearly over the street side of the axle. Just saying...

If going somewhere with hookups I usually go with about 5-7 gal in the tank and an empty Thetford. I am concerned about the tire clearance on that side (less than 2") and have seen signs of rubbing

My 2720 has a 40 gallon under dinette seat , front of axle and more tongue weight, I never travel with water. I fill somewhere close to destination.

TrailManorMan or anyone w/a 2720SD,

So w/your 40 gal. F/W tank under the dinette seat, do you have a 2720SD? Or another config? Just wondering if I needed, I could put an alternate F/W tank under the street-side bench of my unit. My battery's under the curb side dinette seat, so concerned about wt. distribution side to side. Although wld like the battery mounted outside, have the front slide-out & horizontal propane tanks forward, so not much room for a battery box it seems. Re Wt. - never travel w/H2O onboard.

Not sure how well your slide would slide with a 40-gal tank under a dinette bench. I would check with TM before putting a tank in there.

Very astute, there LTC - w/that in mind, am sure it'd be a No-Go.
Will dream another dream.
Thx.
