How about the furnace? Does it make any heat when the thermostat is turned to the top of its range?
Empty tanks - what do the gauges read? Loose hose connectors? Closed tank valves? If none of the above, the most likely cause of a major failure of the gas supply is a bad regulator. With both tanks turned on, turn the selector valve one way and see if the stove can be lit, and then turn the selector the other way and see if the stove can be lit.
