Default Add front window?

I am interested to hear if anyone has added a front window to a TM that didn't come with one. I will try giving TM a call and see if I can get some info. Thanks.

If you tackle this the hardest part will be cutting the hole to exactly the right size. I would almost recommend pulling the rear window so you can make a pattern from that window hole and then using the same model window.

I'm not sure that the RD has a rear window. Perhaps one of the side windows could serve?

The real question is whether there are any framing members inside the front wall at the point where you will cut the hole. Only TM can tell you this, so you've gone to the right source. But the shell actually looks like the same shell as gets used in one of the standard trailers. If so, it may be less difficult than it would seem.

Has anyone tried the use of the metal stud finders to find the frame members in the TM?

I tried my 20 year old stud finder and found some evidence for vertical frame members, but the upper portion of the inside shell wall appeared as "solid" on my stud finder. I'm suspecting that TM has a double layer of aluminum on this portion to support screwing in curtain hardware and the clips for wall cabinets.

My point is that if the newer metal rated stud finders work, the OP may be able to use this tool to confirm the framing in the front of his shell.

Didn't get a chance to call them today. I'm not sure how a stud finder would work with the aluminum. Bill is correct, I have a door and no window on the back. I'm pretty optomistic that if I can source the parts, I can get it accomplished. Thanks for the replies, I'll keep you updated.

Missed that you had a SportDeck, disregard my comment. However there is a guy on this forum parting out a 2720 and he has a front window. I was gonna buy it to replace my rear window but (believe it or not) the front and rear windows are different sizes.
