Awning size ?
I am trying to get a few thing bought for the TM.
I would like to get the patio mat bought.
Can anyone tell me how wide the awning is ? (We don't have out TM yet. It is in storage at the dealer.)How big of a mat do you get ?
Thanks

We never sit under the awning, so the width does not matter to us.
We use a long commercial floor runner. It is about 3 feet wide or so and I would guess it is about 10 to 12 feet long.
We only use it to keep dust and mud out. It has a rubber back, so dust and mud does not penetrate. We never use it on lawn.
Not exactly the answer to your question.
I think that each model TM may have a different length awning.

I opened my awning in the garage, and I almost had it all the way open. The width is 113 and the depth is 7 or a couple of inches shorter, but very close. We are awning nuts just love them.

I use these: http://www.rubberflooringinc.com/int...soft-tile.html
foam, rubber floor tiles that are used in gym floors or schools. My wife is an elementary school teacher and she uses them for kids to sit on for reading time. We carry several with us in the TM and can arrange them any way we want to in front of the entry door. They wipe clean, spray wash clean and and soft. When I pack up the TM, I lay them between the parallel sofas on the floor, then place all my gear on top. Because they are foam, they can conform to slopes, and cover rocky surfaces under the step and beyond. They are 2x2 and may fit stored in the outside rear compartment or under the bed.

This is what this site is all about, TM people helping out other TM owners. I hope all the new ‘trial members’ will join and get so much information. We have the BEST travel trailer on the market and the best site.

It has been my experience that if the wind is blowing hard enough to fly a kite then it is blowing hard enough to tear the awning fabric.
Maybe I just had a defective awning.

Hi Maxine
This is my awning Mat and bag. The awning is light weight and we just flop it over two lawn chairs when we get home then hose it off and it drys very quickly.

If you don't like the flower pattern they offer other patterns. We bought ours in 2005 to use with out Keystone Sydney Outback TT and continue to use it and it shows no wear. I have camped for 18 days with it on grass/rock/mud in Missouri and it really did not even fade the grass. It was not very warm then though. I have seen another version that is reported to not harm grass in all climates.
