Default Honda Odyssey towing set-up

So I just bought a TrailManor 2720, in fact this is my first post. I am really excited to use this with the fam. as we get closer to summer and all.

My question is in regards to my tow set up. Here is what I am planning on doing and wanted to get your opinions on setting up my mini van for towing:

1. Prodigy brake controller
2. T-1000 air bags
3. Tranny cooler
4. Hidden Hitch
5. Mckesh mirrors
6. I will want to put some bikes on the back if possible

I will have this all installed by my friend who is a Toyota mechanic. I am looking at about 500- for all of it not including some install money for my friend.

Is there anything else I am missing on this.

Thanks.

You don't say where you are from or where most of your towing will take place. I have an Odyssey, a Tundra, and a TM 3124KS. I wouldn't dream of towing the TM with the van. Maybe it would work on flat land, but not where I live and places we like to visit.

I have seen posts here of folks who tow with Odysseys and I'm sure they can give you more insight as to what you can expect.

Yep, please put the term "Odyssey" into the search tool. A lot of info will come up.

You might also try to read about air bags (air shocks) vs. a weight distributing hitch, though the search tool isn't quite as helpful about finding those threads. There is a tutorial in the TECHNICAL REFERENCE LIBRARY that discusses some of it, and there has been a ton of open discussion as well.

Thanks guys. We will be towing on mostly flat land. We will be traveling light and our rig is the 2720. I will do a further search under Odyssey.

Brent - FYI I have a set of Eagle Vision mirrors for sale in the For Sale section. They are McKesh knock-offs from Camping World. Let me know if you are interested.

Don't know much about the Odyssey, but I suspect (like stated above), you are going to need a WDH.
