Has anyone added a wall mounted table by the fridge?
I want to add a wall mounted table that we can put up when we're somewhere for a few days. It would be over by the fridge. I find that there is where I've set up a folding camping table to set up my laptop and a few other items. Has anyone done this sort of thing. My DH is thinking just below where all of the cable/outlets/etc. come out of the wall. I'm thinking of making it myself since I can't seem to find what I'm looking for online. I would just need to make sure I didn't drill info the actual fridge to put the hinges. Would love to know if anyone has done this.

Sounds like a great idea, and I don't recall anyone doing it. Of course you would lose the use of that space for the easy chair, but some folks don't like that chair anyway. When the slider slides in, there is just about enough space to hold a dropped-down table. The wall beside the refrig is pretty wimpy, and it might not hold a table directly. But if you backed it up with a piece of 1X6, glued to the back of the wall, I think it would do pretty well.
Let us know - sounds like a good mod.

We use the chair as storage space for the microwave and a small toaster along with sheets for the front bed. But with only three of us, not much of a problem. Having a place for my laptop, ipod, phone and such would be great. I'll let you know how it goes when I'm done installing the lift kit and get around to this.

We hung a small shelf there that we got from our dealer, which is probably the standard TV shelf. In fact, we put the television on it, but it could also be used for other small things. We used the same brackets as the over-sink cupboards, so it can be removed when we travel.

Seems to me that a table like those installed in your slide out would work. I don't think you would have a problem with the thin wall by the fridge since these tables are self supporting. Call the factory to see if you can get one.

Hi,
I have 2720sl and moved the table from by the couch and mounted it by the fridge so I could use that space more effectively... (it was too hard to use both with the couch and thought it would make tv setup more easy...) Works just great. Now I can use tv right there or use it in food prep etc. Sure helped out on our 3 week trip to Yellowstone/Glacier area. Trailer is closed now, but when is open could send u picture. I did have to adjust the outlet slightly.

Never thought of that! One more option to consider. A pic would be great sometime. We're headed to Yellowstone this year as well. Got my reservations back in January.

Very nice job!
Would consider it myself, but that the dog's area; besides, we do eat at that table for meals when the weather's not fit for being out.
I really like this approach.
