Yes, I have a shell on the bed. It's a Snugtop. I got it for 2 reasons - better to carry stuff in the bed and for the added aerodynamics.

I also added a padded marine carpet kit in the bed. The shell is lined with a matching liner. The padded carpet is wonderful on the knees when I have to climb in for some reason. It velcros on and I can take it off and hose it down if it gets too dirty. It's mold/mildew proof and helps insulate the bed, too.

Before switching to a Pathfinder I used my Chevy P/U. However, when I first started towing the TM I didn't have a camper shell. The gas mileage was stinky. What a difference the camper shell made. I have a plastic liner, as well as a lined shell, looks great and worked well with the TM for storage.

Too bad I can't keep all my toys. The truck sold this morning :.
