fwiw, I was advised by the factory that I quite likely did not need a WD hitch with my 1500HD truck, because it is a large tow vehicle.

When I brought it home from the dealer, it was porpoising on I80. I solved tht problem by increasing the air pressure in the rear tires of the truck.

When I attach the TM to the rear of the truck, the rear bumper of the truck drops about 5/8 inch. I did not measure the lift in the front bumper.

Now that I have added 2 motorcycles to the bed of the truck, along with a bunch of other stuff, the rear of the truck now sags enough that I can no longer add or remove the TM front wheel.

So I now tow with a 2500HD long bed and that has enough suspension that it no longer sags.

Some of us have a lot of stuff.
