Default replace outdoor shower head unit

Hello, does anyone know if the shower head unit can be replaced with an off the shelf unit or must it be OEM?
The lever broke & it seems to me that I can replace the head unit only.

Thanks

I’m sure you can fit something to fit on the end of the hose but I don’t know about fitting in the box properly.

Here’s the replacement part…

Or I think I have a used one around here somewhere if you wanna go that route.

Best thing to do is to take the valve stem out of the faucet assembly and take it to the hardware store to match it up. Most hardware stores have a wide selection of them. Best to get both hot and cold at the same time.

Probably not much help here, because this is apparently an older model than the one in your picture. And not even sure if it is is still available at that.
