I'm happy with our two layer counter, I like having the sink lower down.

Yes, I find the sink a bit low. Manageable for me with average height but for a tall person might be less than comfortable on one's back. I guess that is why they raised it...

Our first TM was a 99 3023 we loved it so much we began the search for a newer upgrade and found a 2010...so we have used both old and new.
The biggest change we love is the air conditioner in the middle instead of over the bed! The outside shower is nice, the fridge upgrade was needed (controls now on top instead of on the floor), added outlets (w/cable connects), CD player, optional solar.

What we miss from the older model - lighter color counters, colored glass doors on the storage by the door, the spair tire on the back w/cover, power cable storage (much easier than the new one), Sewer hose storage in the bumper (new one is hard to get out when down), and my biggest loss was the single dump fitting for both gray and black water (the new model has two instead of one).

They have not changed a lot and certainly the little upgrades over the years have improved the TM, but over all the design is the same. I look at the new models every year as we are close to the "Car Show" in Colorado Springs. Nice to look, but we are really happy with what we have. A lot comes down to personal likes and needs.
