Post Torque Comparisons with Diesel JGC

After pulling my 3124 over Berthod Pass on the way from Denver to Grand Lake, I decided I might want to start looking for a TV that has some torque. I made it ok, but the Durango had to hit some high RPMs and low gears to make it. I noticed that the radiator temp was creeping up a little - not close to red but above normal running temp. I'm concerned about what the tranny temp was too! The Durango 4.7 L does not produce a lot of torque, and most of it is at higher rpm. (The newer 4.7 L is a HO (high output) and has lots more torque.) I did a little research and put together a chart of some likely tow vehicles - based on my preferences and some common vehicles I see on the forum. I'm leaning towards the Jeep Grand Cherokee with the CRD (Common Rail Diesel).

I've attached a .pdf of the spreadsheet I have so far. Most research is based on Edmunds.com. I present this with no comment, but would welcome feedback.

PS - tried to update, but looks like I'm over my limit. I'll try something else. In the mean time, I'll send it to anyone who gives me an email address.
