Thanks for sharing. Great idea and application! I've had the Thetford Curve for several years now and very quickly became fairly adept at emptying into the sewer holes without incident. While it does sometimes require a minor amount of finagling with the attached lids, it's not that difficult for me so probably not worth $30 to me. I love the idea though and glad somebody came up with it.

I would not want to carry the hose. That was one thing I liked about the cassette; no hose to carry. Yes, the dumping part was a challenge.

I think a larger-diameter PVC piece that would go onto a dump hole, and was just long enough to get the neck of the dump tube into, would be better. Easier to clean with a hose, and easier to get more water into the cassette to rinse it out.

Just my thoughts. I used the cassette TrailManor put into the 2417, and also got the Curve for my next TT. Had to put the original toilet back into my SOB, as DW had some gastro problems on a weekend trip, and there was nowhere to empty. Had to go to using our 40-gal black tank, instead. Still, I like the Curve!

I have yet to use miine, but my nephew got me this adapter. So with the Americanizer and this I should have zero problems dumping my cassette.

So, I have finally had a chance to use this a few times and feel confident with it.

It has made the dumping process simpler. Two sites we went to had full hookups. When I had to dump the curve, I disconnected the hose from the trailer, dumped curve then re-attached hose and flush with some grey water. Very easy, no mess, and I didn't have to carry the curve a great distance to the restrooms.

On our last trip, I just put the curve in the bed of my truck, drove to dump station dumped curve using sewer hose then hooked up hose to trailer and dumped grey tank. no mess and easy.

I like the idea of the small hose kidkraz posted to make dumping mid stay easier or use my home cleanout vs the toilet at home.
