Closing curtains without fiddling

Hello all,

I'm tired of having to mess with the curtains to get them to close well (so that from the outside, people can't see into the TM where the curtains meet). Has anyone modified the curtains so that they can be positively secured to one another? I was thinking velcro strips, but maybe there's an easier way?
