Default 99 Isuzu Rodeo as a tow vehicle

I would like to hear form anyone who has used an Isuzu Rodeo (GVWR 4500lbs) to tow a Trailmanor. What are your thoughts on using this as a tow vehicle? Let me know of any problems encountered. Thanks in advance.

Default Re: 99 Isuzu Rodeo as a tow vehicle

We tow with a 2000 Isuzu Trooper that is standard equipped with a 3.5 liter, 24 valve engine.  It does an adequate job and even handled Wolf Creek Pass in Colorado last summer.  However, we own the lightest TM model in the 2619.  The only concern I have is the ability to stop the trailer when you need to in an emergency.  The weight of the Trooper is less than what I really feel comfortable with.  We also own a 1996 Isuzu Rodeo, which is even lighter than the Trooper and I would never consider it for tow.

Just my two cents.
