Default Loose Electrical Cable

A heads up:

While putting air inthe tires to prepare for a trip I came across the electrical cable hanging down on the back side of the TM. Looks like the cable ties they used to hold the cable to the bar that moves with the shell all dry rotted or something and were all broken and falling out of the brackets! It was hanging down close to the ground - I'm sure glad I saw it before we drove out!

We live in the desert so I suppose they just dried and broke. I'm wondering what else will now.

Have a good holiday!

Funny, that was one of the things I spotted on this year's inspection on mine, too. I wish they used some UV-resistant ties - I don't think they used the right parts, although maybe 3 years at high altitude just is too much for any of them. But fortunately that is a really cheap fix, and a good thing to watch for.
