Thermostat

I replaced my thermostat today with the Hunter digital. Seems to work great. 1 degree difference in the temp. and the setting. (on and off).

Ed, did you measure the contact current required to activate the furnace? I keep forgetting to measure this. RockyMtnRay found his to be 1.3 amp when the gas solenoid kicked in but I don't think the contact current on the newer TMs is that large. Thanks Ray

My amp meter died so until I replace it I can't check it. If you check yours let me know what it is. It's so warm here I had to turn the AC on to cool down the TM to make sure the thermostat was working.
