Default Cornelia Ga. USFS Lake Russell

well was the last trip of the season(ours anyway) landed at lake Russell cg in north ga, a USFS park , two loops with water spigots ever 3 or 4 sites and 4 or 5 bathhouses , on a small lake about 1 mile long and 200 yrds , no power motors allowed, grt fishing.
The price is 14 a night or you can do a double site for 16 a night. they do have a one site with power and water for 25.00 just need to call ahead for it.
we arrived on sun and other then 3 others in the place it was empty the entire week. just got a felling the place is not used a lot, to easy to find firewood, it's laying everywhere, grass in the gravel lots, moss on some tables.
This one is our return to list. if you want to get away from it all
if one thing could have been better, bathrooms could have been cleaner, but we was there in the last two weeks of there season and all but one camp host where gone, and the one left there was more of the grounds keeper, or what I seen out of him.
o yea the last pic is (Jamie Rotten) aka granddaughter summer

scrubjaynest,
funny you say that,
Vickie even said she thought you and dw would like this one also after a day or so there,
also look into Rabun beach cg(USFS) outside clayton ga. 30 miles or so north of this one, a little larger cg , but the lake is a lot larger , which means a lot more boat traffic ,

All I can tell you about Lake Raburn is the water is to cold to swim in, and we had to replace our black water plumbing on the MH after scraping going into one of their sites.
