Campsites in Florida

My husband and I are interested in visiting campgrounds in Florida. We have been to Fort DeSoto and it was absolutely awesome. Can anyone recommend any other places in Florida to visit? We would prefer water and electric hookups and dog friendly places. We enjoy being near water and love to hike with our hound dog. Activities aren't important.
We will be leaving for North Carolina in April and plan to camp in the mountains of NC and Tennessee. Any suggestions there would be appreciated also. If anyone can recommend a website or book that would help us out in our research that would be great.
