Default Is Tan Microsuede Washable?

Does anyone know if the tan microsuede (from 2008) is machine washable? We can't find a care tag anywhere. We see that a lot of TM owners wash the cushion covers but we're not sure if they are a different fabric?

Thanks!

I don't know the answer to your specific question, but I know that members have found that if you wash the mattress cover or the curtains, you should put them back in place while they are still damp. If you put them in the dryer, they shrink, making them nearly impossible to put back on.

So now you are left with the general question - is microsuede washable? If you look it up (please do so!), a number of Google hits say yes - cold water, no bleach, and perhaps gentle cycle.

I would find it hard to believe that any RV manufacturer would use a non-washable fabric in their RVs.

Where is the tan microsuede used?

Our 2009 2720 SL has a burgundy couch w/ what feels like microsuede.

I was thinking about using the upholstery attachment for the carpet cleaner on this...

Default Washed Microsuede

We just got a 2008 2720 with tan cushions. Washed all the covers in our front load Maytag with Colorox Bleach Free for Colors, regular cycle, warm wash, cold rinse. Draped them over our camp chairs in the garage to dry for 24 hours - no problems putting them back on the cushions. They're clean, but some stains didn't come out so will attempt to spot clean those. Also noticed prior owner had them dry cleaned as there were a couple little tags inside.

Here's a hint for putting the fabric back on the cushions. Put a plastic bag over the foam part first. Then start feeding the fabric from the open end of the plastic bag. As you get the fabric on and pulled tight you can start pulling the plastic bag out.

If you are putting the fabric on damp as Bill suggested, you could leave the plastic bag on so that there is no chance of moisture getting into the foam. Once the fabric is dry, work the plastic bag off. I haven't tried this, so I don't know how well it would come off this way, but I'm sure you could do it.
