Very good ideas. On the stove, I'm with you. I actually removed the range and oven that was in our 2720 and put in a microwave and countertop (aka piece of plywood). The gas line is capped so everything can be reversed if needed later. For a stove, I use my Dad's old green bought-new-in-1965 Coleman range that burns Coleman fuel. Still going strong. Allows us to cook inside (with windows open) or out.

UPDATE: The 2417 Standard in my pictures is going to be a one-of-a-kind prototype. Still for sale and with full warranty of course. It's headed for somewhere in CA tomorrow (presumably another RV show). TM plans to move the bathroom to a different position among other things. Stay tuned for the redesigned 2417 Std, coming soon. More info to follow as it becomes available.

I noticed that TrailManor shows a different floor plan on their website where sink is next to entry door and stove is on opposite wall with bathroom. (See attachment). They put the dinette in front of the double bed (thank you!) and leave open access to the larger king bed. I never understood why so many popup's have the larger bed located where you have to crawl over the dinette to get into bed. That is stupid, so I am happy to see TrailManor fix this.

Now if only they would post some pictures of the entire interior, especially with the storage option instead of the bathroom. I would consider this 2417 standard model because I could actually pull it with my minivan safely.

I like seeing floor plans but I really need visuals of the actual trailer. I want to see what the actual "storage area" looks like in this model. I don't have a bathroom in my current popup and can live without it to gain more storage. I camp for 2 weeks at a time so I need a place to put stuff.

I have not found any 2417 standard models for sale yet. Any idea when they might begin making them?

Default Width of entry door?

Does anyone know how wide the entry door is on the 2417 and does it differ on the sport vs the standard? I thought I read a post that said the door width was narrower than the other TM models....

The door on my 2417 Sport is 19" wide. The Standard model I looked at in January has the same door. The main box does not allow for a larger door, and still have everything in it.

That said, the floorplan that Baily'sMom posted looks like it could have a wider door. If there is room under the stove for the refrigerator (the one I saw at the RV show had the 'frige under the stove), then there could be room for a wider door. Just have narrower drawers next to the sink.

Wonder where the fresh water tank is? Mine is where the shower is shown in that floorplan. Will be interested in looking at it when it is available, just to compare.

Default Will see new model in May

They are supposed to have one of the 2417 models at the Milwaukee RV show on Mother's Day weekend. I hope to get there on Friday. If I do I will take pictures and post them for everybody.

Default Entry door widened for 2013

I can confirm that with the new design of the floor plan they were able to make the entry door the same width as the standard trailers. That was nice.

I found this model to be just too small for me. There was actually less available floor space than my current pop up. I can see this model for someone just starting out, but it is too small for my needs.

I will try again later to upload photos.

Very glad that I went to the rv show. They had a 2922kd model and that is what I plan to buy next year. It will be a perfect fit.

The 2417 is perfect for a couple (we are empty nesters) - the king sized bed is great, and then the smaller bed can be a day bed/storage. We are really happy with ours, but we also opted not have the toilet, so it feels wide open. I did not like the toilet model, it did seem cramped. Without the toilet it feels so much more spacious. Having a king sized bed where we do not have to climb over each other is a must and fitting into our garage was also imperative. The smaller bed will also come in handy if we can ever talk a kid to come with us.

Our last pup was a 14 foot higwall, so this is much smaller, simpler, and higher quality.

We are taking it again tomorrow for the 2nd time. We had planned several trips, including a 3 weeker, but it all had to be cancelled due to family illness. But tomorrow we are planning a one nighter.

TM just send out a newsletter that details the 2417 - both models. Both models look very handy.
