Default change the carpet for tile and recover sofa

Hello everyone! Has anyone ever removed the carpet and replaced the carpet in a 3124KS with tile and recover the sofa? I Just bought my 2005 3124KS three weeks ago and although not in bad shape would like to change a few things.

Many TM owners have removed the carpet and also the sheet vinyl flooring if installed by the factory. I did the job year or so ago and replaced it all with a plank, wood like DIY product found at any of the large home improvement stores. Comes in floating floor or stick down types. The job can be accomplished in one day or two. The removal is the worst part. Pull up and remove all staples, glue, and trim. Clean floor with a mineral oil product, and prime the floor with a good primer. I used 123 Brand. Or Kilz brand.

Don't have any info on the fabrics change for sofas.

Hi, I recovered the sofa and dinnett with great success. I too replaced the carpet but with vinyal planks so as to not worry about water and such. I can take photos later tonight for you if you wish.

Good luck and happy camping.

I would love to see pics! I'm getting tired of cleaning mud from the carpet. No matter how hard you try to keep clean, even with rugs, it gets dirty. Thanks!
