I agree Billy, every one wants a slide out, a Toy Hauler or a Toy Hauler with a slide out or 3 LOL I can't say the Elkmont would be my first choice for a light weight TT, but for the price, the Elkmont will fit our needs just fine, I couldn't afford the $$ for anything else.

After 3 years my brother traded in his 32 foot Montana 5th wheel for a 34 footer. Then he complained about getting only half price for his trade in.

I think he keeps trying to keep up with the Jones'.

I do not like to go where my brother can go.
My brother can not go where I like to go.

I think the main thing is they buy from people who want to sell *now*, need the money or whatever. Then they just hold onto the vehicle until somebody comes along with the right price.

That happened to us when selling the old Tacoma. I had it on Kijiji (like craigslist) for two months before eventually selling it to a reseller. I wanted to get rid of it before we went to Florida, before winter, and I was still paying insurance on it.

With a trailer, there should be less of a rush to sell it. And Spring is definitely a good time to be doing so.

I just purchased a 2005 TrailManor 2619. I have been searching for five weeks for the best one. When I could find one online, they were already sold in less than a week. I live in the midwest. I also have a question: My insurance company wants me to find out how much the 2005 TrailManor sold for when it was new. Does anyone know??

We paid approximately $23,000 for a factory order 2005 TM 2720.

Extras include:

roof air
over sink cabinet
microwave drawer
awning
swing tongue
rear hitch
vinyl flooring (instead of carpet)
40 gallon water tank

I do not have the TV antenna

There might be other options that I do not recall.
